This intense, one-day advanced course focuses on the intricate facial vasculature essential for safe and effective injectable treatments in aesthetic medicine. It is designed for truly experienced injectors who have attended previous general cadaver courses and, want to deepen their understanding of high-risk vascular zones, improve their injection techniques, and enhance their ability to confidently manage complications.
The course combines theoretical lectures, hands-on cadaveric dissections, and practical interactive training. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the facial arterial and venous systems (depth and distribution) , recognize potential higher risk areas, and practice emergency response protocols, including the use of hyaluronidase and other treatment strategies.
Highlights include:
• Detailed exploration of facial vasculature with a focus on danger zones of the maxillary and ophthalmic circulation
• Management strategies for vascular complications, such as skin necrosis and vision loss.
• Mechanisms of vascular occlusion during filler injections
• Techniques to minimize the risk of vascular compromise
• Early recognition of occlusion and prevention strategies
• Anatomy of ocular and periocular vessels
• Mechanisms of vision loss due to inadvertent filler migration
• Management and emergency protocols for vision loss
• Live demonstrations of evidence-based injection techniques, including ultrasound-guided injections.
• Hands-on cadaver dissections to visualize and map vascular pathways.
By the end of the day, participants will be more confident in performing injectable treatments safely and managing emergencies in their practice.
Experienced aesthetic injectors (doctors, surgeons, nurses) looking to enhance their skills in vascular anatomy and complication management.
