Kara D. McClanahan, CMPE 

Kara brings over 25 years of experience in the aesthetics industry. Through her career she has partnered with physicians and practice leadership, private equity groups, medical device, and skincare companies to facilitate strategic business change. Kara is a master in developing innovative strategies that differentiate aesthetic focused businesses in the increasingly competitive marketplace.
Kara has worked as an executive leader in all facets of operational management, business development, sales training, and clinical support and practice development. Her career has spanned the fields of neurology, primary care, dermatology, and plastic surgery; with the last 15 years dedicated to the cosmetic space.

Kara has obtained a prestigious advanced certification and is one of only a handful of “Board Certified Medical Practice Executives” by the American Medical Group Management Association and holds educational degrees Business Administration, Health Care Administration, and Marketing & Communications. She is a sought-after speaker at industry conferences and events and a respected consultant among cosmetic focused businesses.

She is a dedicated and driven leader who is focused on elevating the aesthetic industry. She is also founder of a non-profit organization, Empower Esthetics, whose mission is to empower women in industry leadership, mentorship and giving back to the aesthetic community.

Bill Fukui

Bill Fukui is the Sr. Vice President of Business Development for MedShark Digital and has been marketing cosmetic practices for over 25 years with experience in all forms of media advertising. He started focusing exclusively on digital marketing and was a pioneer in SEO for cosmetic practices since 2001. His insights on website design, SEO, Google Local Map optimization, pay-per-click advertising, social media, and conversion strategies have been published and shared in numerous journals, books, meetings, conventions, and webinars.
